The call was open to artists aged 18 or over for up to three works made within the past two years in intaglio, lithography, relief, serigraphy, digital and photographic processes or monotype on paper, at specified small paper sizes (16 x 20 to 24 x 32 inches). The non-refundable fee was $35; the deadline was 31 August 2026 (11:59 pm CST), with notification on 7 October 2026 and accepted work due 2 November 2026.
Purchase awards and juror's merit awards are announced at the opening; traditionally about half of the exhibition is acquired for the Arkansas State University permanent collection. The next call is expected in spring 2027.
