About
The Blake Prize has invited artists to explore spirituality and religion since 1951 and has been hosted by Liverpool Powerhouse (formerly Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre) since 2016. It is a biennial exhibition open to contemporary artists working in any medium.
The 69th edition offered a $35,000 main prize, a $10,000 acquisitive prize, a $5,000 Next Generation Scholarship for an emerging artist, a $5,000 poetry prize and a $2,000 People's Choice. Entries closed in November 2025 and finalists were exhibited in 2026; the next call is expected for the 70th prize.
