About
The Salón Manuel Belgrano has been held by the Museo de Artes Plásticas Eduardo Sívori in Buenos Aires since 1956. It accepts work in five disciplines (painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking and monotype) from Argentine artists and foreign artists with permanent residence in Argentina, who apply online with a portfolio link and the works proposed.
First-prize works in each discipline are acquired for the Sívori's contemporary collection. The 70th edition took registrations from 7 September to 4 October 2026, announces selected and prize-winning artists on 30 October 2026 and opens its exhibition at the museum on 12 December 2026.
The call is run by the Dirección General Patrimonio, Museos y Casco Histórico of the Buenos Aires City Ministry of Culture. Entry is free.
