About
The Salon de Montrouge, founded in 1955, is a yearly showcase of emerging artists organised by the City of Montrouge. The 70th edition, under artistic director Andrea Ponsini, selects around 40 artists for an exhibition at Le Beffroi from 26 February to 12 March 2027. Each exhibiting artist is paid EUR 1,000.
The call for the 70th edition was open from 2 April to 27 April 2026 (noon), via the dedicated applications site. It is open to individual artists and collectives, and to practitioners in adjacent disciplines whose work has a notable visual-art dimension (architecture, cinema, publishing, design, graphics, landscape, culinary design). The salon runs annually, so a call for the 71st edition is expected in spring 2027.
