About
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture's Visual Arts grant supports the production and exhibition of painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video and sound art, art publications and multimedia work. Individuals from the 22 Arab League countries may apply regardless of residence or citizenship, as may local, regional and international organisations whose projects relate to arts and culture from the Arab region.
Grants are up to USD 20,000 for individuals and teams and up to USD 35,000 for collectives and institutions, covering materials, rentals, artistic and technical labour and an artist fee of no more than 30% of the grant. Recipients of grants in two consecutive years must wait two years, and applicants with open grants are ineligible.
The 2026 call opened 2 February 2026 and closed 2 April 2026 at 5pm Beirut time, with results announced 25 August 2026. Applications are made through AFAC's online form. The programme runs annually.
