Art Educator (Freelance Pool) at DIEP Emmen

DIEP, the visual arts platform in Emmen with a history of more than fifty years, is moving this autumn to a new home in the Biochron, the former shark basin of the old zoo. It is looking for art teachers to join its professional flex pool with immediate effect.

Teachers inspire and guide children and young people as they explore a range of art forms and techniques, setting creative assignments while leaving room for their own ideas and experiments.

Applicants should be practising visual artists with several years' experience, all-round and willing to work outside their own discipline, experienced in teaching groups and self-employed (ZZP); a teaching qualification and living near Emmen are pluses. Work is on call at a market-rate fee. Send a motivation letter and CV by 8 November 2026.
