About
Alessandro Berni Gallery is looking for an art handler to support a series of exhibitions in its Chelsea space in New York. The work covers installing and de-installing artworks, handling, moving and packing works, supporting hanging, layout adjustments and basic lighting, keeping storage and gallery areas in order, and helping with incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory checks.
Prior experience handling artworks is preferred. The gallery wants someone careful, precise, punctual and physically able to lift and move works, with flexible availability for install days and openings.
