About
Art in Action 2027 combines a live-streamed presentation event, a concurrent group exhibition at CICA Museum in Gimpo, South Korea, and publication. Selected presenters show a 10-minute pre-recorded video during Art in Action: Live on 10 January 2027 and are featured in the book New Media Art 2028, expected December 2027.
Categories include photographs and 2D digital art, video and interactive art, physical works and installation, performances and experimental workshops. Applicants email a link to a three-minute proposal video and a short bio by 23 October 2026; selected presenters are notified and register between 1 and 15 November 2026.
There is no submission fee; selected participants pay $30 USD event registration and $78 USD (110,000 KRW) per work toward exhibition processing. Museum staff install works on behalf of artists.
