About
The Research and Practice Platform is Art Jameel's grants programme for creative practitioners in the UAE, delivered in its third edition with Dubai Culture as a rapid-response fund. Grants of AED 10,000 are awarded without prescriptive project requirements so recipients can direct support where their practice most needs it.
Applicants must be UAE nationals or long-term residents aged 18 or over with a valid Emirates ID and UAE bank account, currently based in the UAE and actively engaged in a creative or cultural practice. All disciplines are eligible, including visual arts, design, photography, film, writing, music, performance, curatorial practice, digital practices and craft, and emerging to established practitioners, freelancers and small collectives may apply.
Applications in English or Arabic opened on 20 May 2026 and were accepted through 31 July 2026 at artjameel.submittable.com. There is no application fee.
