Assistant Exhibitions Registrar at Tate Liverpool

Tate Liverpool, which is being remodelled and reopens in 2027, is hiring an Assistant Exhibitions Registrar. Working with the Exhibitions Registrar, the post-holder plans and manages packing, transport and insurance for works lent to temporary exhibitions, displays and touring shows, to international museum standards.

Duties include tracking loan agreements and lender requirements, coordinating Government Indemnity and commercial insurance, and helping to select and monitor transport agents. Tate asks for an understanding of fine art transport, indemnity and insurance, knowledge of museum environmental and handling standards, close attention to detail and good IT and database skills.

The role is full time (36 hours over five days) and permanent, with a listed salary band of £25k–£30k. Apply online through Tate's job search site.
