About
The Athens Photo Festival, organised by the Hellenic Centre for Photography, selects its main exhibition programme through an open call to photographers and lens-based artists worldwide at any career stage. Selected works are shown at the Benaki Museum (Pireos 138) during the festival in Athens; a separate Photobook Show and Dummy Award run alongside.
For the 2026 edition the submission deadline was extended to 17 March 2026 and all applicants were notified by 30 March 2026. Applicants may submit up to three projects, each with its own fee paid via PayPal within 72 hours of submitting; the guidelines list EUR 25 for the first project and EUR 15 for each additional project. The organiser's open-call page currently advertises a final week through 26 July 2026 for a further round. The call is annual.
