About
Fundación Botín's Becas de Artes Plásticas, now in their 33rd edition, fund artists at any career stage to pursue training, research or personal creative projects (not theoretical work). Six grants of EUR 23,000 each cover nine months of travel, accommodation, living costs and studio rent; one grant is reserved for a Spanish or Spain-resident artist under 30. Grantees take part in the annual Itinerarios exhibition at Centro Botín, Santander.
Applications for 2026/2027 were made via a web form by 8 May 2026, with physical documentation (max 40 A4 pages) postmarked by that date and received by 22 May 2026. Results were due before 17 July 2026. The call is annual, typically opening in the first quarter.
