Burren College of Art Artist Residencies 2026/27

Burren College of Art offers artist residencies year-round on its campus at Newtown Castle, Ballyvaughan. The standard BCA Artist Residency gives 24-hour studio access for €985 per four-week period (2026/27), with campus housing available at €1,250 a month. Residency+ (€1,295 per four weeks, September to April) adds weekly faculty advisory sessions, and a 12-week Burren Immersion costs €6,200 including accommodation.

A two-week summer residency from 26 July to 6 August 2027 costs €500 (€1,200 with a private campus room); places are limited and currently wait-listed.

Applications are welcome from artists at all levels and are accepted on a rolling, space-available basis through the online form.
