About
Insomniac Games, the Sony studio behind Marvel's Spider-Man, is offering a Character Art internship in Burbank, California. The intern works with experienced artists in the Animation Department to create models, textures and corrective blendshapes for characters and props.
The work covers 3D modelling and texturing, efficient UV layouts in Maya, texture and material authoring in Substance Painter and refining assets with the Character Art and Animation team, with mentorship from senior staff.
Applicants should be studying for a bachelor's degree towards character art, graduating between May 2026 and December 2029; Maya and Python experience are preferred. The intern pay rate is $36.50 an hour. Apply online by 20 November 2026.
