About
CuratorSpace awards one £1,000 Artist Bursary each month to a professional contemporary visual artist with a sustained practice. Artists are selected on the quality of their practice and submit project details after selection; funds may support new work, research, materials, training or expanding practice. The award is paid 80% upfront and 20% on completion feedback.
All visual media are eligible, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, applied art, live art and social practice. Performing-arts-only or creative-writing-only practices, curatorial work, BA students, workshop delivery and commercial product development are not eligible.
Applicants must hold a CuratorSpace Artist or Artist Plus subscription (annual, or continuous monthly for 12 months) and apply in English. Applications are open worldwide; this edition closes 31 October 2026.
