About
The Danish Art Workshops offer professional artists, designers, craftspeople and art restorers free studio, workshop and guest-flat accommodation for development or production projects of up to six months. Materials, prints and copies are paid by the resident.
Applications are assessed by the SVFK Advisory Board and committees for visual art, crafts and design, chiefly on the artistic quality of the project. There are four deadlines a year, at the beginning of February, May, August and November; the next is 2 November 2026 at 24.00.
Non-Danish applicants may apply only with a project tied to an already-accepted exhibition or cultural activity in Denmark; non-Danish applicants living in Denmark apply on the same terms as Danish applicants.
