About

EKWC offers around sixty places a year to artists, designers and other creative professionals wishing to work with ceramics, regardless of prior experience. The EKWC Classic residency lasts thirteen weeks and includes accommodation, workspace, facilities and technical support.

A stipend funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Province of North Brabant covers 75 percent of the basic costs. Residents pay the remainder plus variable costs for materials, printing, heating and transport, which average about 2,420 EUR and are settled at the end of the stay, together with a 100 EUR key deposit.

The last deadline was 15 August 2026; the next open call is in summer 2027.
