About
CD PROJEKT RED, the Polish studio behind The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, is hiring an Expert Environment Artist in Boston to help define the look of Cyberpunk 2, from city skylines to street level. The role is about level art and world building rather than individual props, which the studio says suits its separate X-Dev team.
The artist designs and builds environments ranging from large city districts to detailed interiors, drafts district layouts for composition and player flow, creates modular kits, and sets standards for composition, lighting, colour, materials, storytelling and readability, working with art directors and leads. A portfolio is required.
The post is full time in Boston with an estimated pay range of US$126,200–192,700 a year, plus benefits including a monthly lifestyle allowance.
