About
The Felix Schoeller Photo Award has been run every two years since 2013 by the paper manufacturer Felix Schoeller, with the German Peace Prize for Photography awarded jointly with the City of Peace Osnabrück. The 2025 edition accepted entries from 20 January to 5 April 2025 in three categories: Sustainability, Emerging Photographer and the German Peace Prize for Photography.
Professional photographers may enter Sustainability and the Peace Prize; the Emerging Photographer category is reserved for those in photography degree courses, training or internships. Entry is free via an online upload tool. Nominees were announced 12 August 2025 and winners at the ceremony and exhibition opening in the Museumsquartier Osnabrück on 25 September 2025. A 2027 edition is expected on the biennial cycle but has not been announced.
