Fine Art Collections Assistant at the Béziers museums

The city of Béziers is recruiting a full-time conservation assistant for its fine art collections. The post covers developing and managing collections and archives, organising preventive and remedial conservation, cultural programming and promotion of the collections, and scientific and technical research.

Candidates need a two- or three-year higher-education qualification in conservation, heritage or collections management, proven experience of inventory checking, collection moves, repackaging works and maintaining a collections database such as Webmuseo, and in-depth knowledge of art history.
