About
Strathmore's 35th annual juried exhibition, Fusion, invites abstract and representational work that merges mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, assemblage and sculpture. Artists from the DMV region and beyond may apply.
Applications close 9 November 2026 at 11:59pm with jury notification on 1 December. Selected work is dropped off 11 to 13 January 2027, the show opens to the public on 23 January with a reception on 4 February, and closes 27 February 2027.
A $36 fee covers up to eight works. Work previously exhibited or sold at Strathmore is ineligible and AI-generated or AI-enhanced work is not accepted. Strathmore takes a 40% commission on sales.
