About
The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation invites Greek and international artists and duos working in sculpture, installation, sound installation, mixed media, land art, environmental and ecological art to propose an original large-scale outdoor work focused on the connection between art and nature.
The winning work will be produced between February and May 2027 and unveiled in June 2027 for permanent display in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, becoming part of the Foundation's collection. The Foundation covers production and installation costs, the artist's return travel, accommodation and meals, and awards the artist €15,000.
Proposals are evaluated on conceptual coherence, site-specificity, viewer engagement, technical feasibility, safety and sustainability. Applications are submitted exclusively through the form on the Foundation's website in Greek or English by 30 December 2026, 23:59 Greek time.
