Head of Gallery at Greensville Trust

Greensville Trust, an Islamic educational charity, is recruiting the head of its Islamic art gallery in Bradford; the board lists the post as Gallery Manager. The post-holder leads the gallery's curatorial direction, shaping a programme that combines interpretation of the permanent collection with major temporary exhibitions, and oversees acquisitions, conservation and research.

The role also covers strategic planning with the board, governance and finance, fundraising, building partnerships with museums, collectors, artists and scholars, and managing a team of curators, educators, operations staff and volunteers. Senior leadership experience in a gallery or arts institution and demonstrable curatorial expertise in Islamic art, history and heritage are essential.
