About
The Ayuntamiento de Córdoba approved the first Premio Internacional de Pintura Ciudad de Córdoba on 25 May 2026 (published in the provincial gazette on 7 July 2026). It is open to anyone over 18, Spanish or foreign, submitting an original finished painting made after 2020 and not awarded elsewhere, measuring between 80 and 300 cm.
The single, indivisible prize is 30,000 EUR; no runner-up prizes or mentions are given. Rules and registration are handled through the city's electronic office.
The application window was two months from the day after publication in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia, so the first edition has closed. Whether the prize will be repeated has not been announced.
