About
The inaugural International Mute Photo Festival, organised by Photonisos Arts & Culture NPO on the island of Samos, Greece, invites photographic series made exclusively with children's thermal print cameras on the theme 'Nature ate the pixels'. There are two categories: adults (18+) and children and youth (under 18), open to all experience levels and nationalities.
Fifteen adult series and five youth series will be selected. Production and printing costs are fully covered by the organisers, and selected works are exhibited at the festival in July 2027 and published in the official catalogue. A travel and accommodation award goes to the artist with the most complete series.
Entry is free. Submissions are made by email to the festival, following the guidelines PDF linked from the festival's Linktree page.
