About
Jackson's Art Prize (previously Jackson's Painting Prize) is an annual online competition run by the art materials supplier Jackson's. It is open internationally to artists of all ages and abilities working in two-dimensional techniques including painting, drawing and original printmaking; sculpture, digital art, AI art, pure photography and digital prints are excluded.
Artists may submit up to five works for a small per-artwork fee, with an early-bird rate and a free entry for registered students. Judging is by a panel of artists and curators and there are category, materials and people's choice awards.
The first prize is £6,000 cash plus art materials. Shortlisted artists are invited to exhibit at the Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead, and in a group show at Bankside Gallery, London.
