Junior Registrar & Art Handler at Bernheim Gallery

Bernheim Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Zürich and London, is hiring a Junior Registrar & Art Handler based at its London gallery five days a week. The role manages inventory across UK and Swiss storage, organises incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares condition reports, manages insurance records, maintains the Artlogic database, oversees freelance technicians and installs and de-installs exhibitions and viewing rooms, with hands-on handling of artworks.

The gallery asks for a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the art industry, hands-on technician experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Artlogic, knowledge of contemporary art, loan and consignment agreements and international customs procedures. A degree in Fine Arts or Art History and experience with art shipping agents are desirable.
