About
The Kiefer Hablitzel | Göhner Kunstpreis, run by the Kiefer Hablitzel Foundation with the Ernst Göhner Foundation, promotes young Swiss art. It is open to Swiss and Switzerland-based artists, or artists registered at a Swiss university, under 30 years of age who hold at least a Bachelor's degree. Artists may apply a maximum of three times and can win only once.
Up to seven prizes of CHF 15,000 are awarded each year, plus a special award comprising a solo exhibition at a Swiss institution with a publication. The competition and exhibition take place in Basel in early June alongside the Swiss Art Awards. The organiser's site did not load during research, so the current deadline is not recorded; the foundation posts exact application dates on kieferhablitzel.ch.
