About
Light & Shadow 2027 is a juried online exhibition from Curatone.art, an independent curatorial platform in Berlin. The theme is the relationship between light and shadow, and both figurative and abstract work are welcome.
Any medium is accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, textile, mixed media and digital art. The call is open to artists aged 18 and over anywhere in the world.
Your first artwork is free to enter. You can add up to two more works for a one-time $10. Artists whose work passes preliminary selection pay a $25 exhibition fee, which covers all their accepted works. Partial use of AI tools is allowed if you disclose it, but fully AI-generated images used without further processing are not accepted. Artists keep copyright of their work.
First prize is $150, a solo online exhibition, an artist interview and a certificate. Second and third prizes are $50 each, with an artist interview and a certificate.
The deadline is 10 January 2027 at 23:59 Berlin time, and results are announced on 25 January 2027.
