Lower School Art Assistant Teacher at The American School in London

The American School in London is looking for a Lower School Art Assistant Teacher to work alongside its Lower School Art Teacher. The assistant helps prepare for and teach art classes of around 21 children aged 6 to 10, including some solo teaching, team teaching, small groups and one-to-one support.

Other duties include helping plan and assess lessons, ordering and maintaining art supplies, creating displays of student work, documenting projects with technology and supervising lunch and recess. The post-holder reports to the Lower School Assistant Principal.

The role is part time, 28 hours a week, fixed term from January to June 2027. The listing gives a salary range of £25,210–£26,746 a year.
