About

The Manitoba Arts Council's Create programme supports the process of creation by professional artists, arts groups and Indigenous Knowledge Keepers: research and creation of new work, development of work in progress and participation in creation-based residencies.

Grant limits are up to CAD 7,500 for emerging artists, CAD 10,000 for mid-career and CAD 15,000 for established artists. Applicants register a Manipogo profile at least five to ten business days before applying.

Deadlines fall on 20 March and 10 October each year; the next is 20 March 2027. See the programme guidelines for residency and eligibility details.
