About

The Yingge Ceramics Museum, home of the Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, selects part of its exhibition programme through an annual open call. For 2028 there are five slots in the Sunlight Gallery (1F) and six in the Ceramics Hallway (B1), each running about four weeks.

Individuals, groups or curators engaged in ceramic art or production in Taiwan or abroad may apply, provided they have not held a solo exhibition or museum show in the past two years; graduation and class exhibitions are excluded. Clay must make up at least 50% of each work; single works must not exceed 120 x 120 x 200 cm or 1,200 kg. Works cannot be sold during the exhibition.

The museum provides exhibition space and pedestals, fine art insurance up to NT$2,000,000, press releases, invitation cards and exhibition design coordination; applicants pay transport and transit insurance. Applications are by email ([email protected]) from 00:00 on 1 December 2026 to 17:00 on 1 February 2027 (Taiwan time); results are announced by 31 March 2027.
