About
Sunny Bank Mills in Pudsey, West Yorkshire, invites applications for Ones to Watch 2027, its annual exhibition for emerging artists. Applicants must be Yorkshire-born or Yorkshire-based and at the start of their creative career, with very limited exhibition experience, or returning to practice after a break. Over 13 years the programme has supported more than 450 artists.
All media are welcome, including painting, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, film, sound, text, glass, metal, performance and wood. Applicants must be 16 or over (under-18s registered by a parent or guardian) and able to deliver work by 5 January 2027.
Application is free and no exhibition fees are charged. Awards include a Visitor's Choice Award of a three-month artist studio residency and a sponsored award from a local organisation to be announced.
