About
The Paddington Art Prize is a privately sponsored national prize for paintings inspired by the Australian landscape, now in its 23rd year. In 2026 it added a $10,000 non-acquisitive prize for a free-standing 3D sculpture and runs a Young Paddo Prize for ages 5 to 18.
Entries are submitted online through the Art Galleria portal. Additional awards include an Honourable Mention ($3,000), Highly Commended ($1,000), a First Nations Award ($2,500), a materials award and a residency. Finalists are exhibited at Council House, Woollahra in October.
