About
Artist-Initiated Projects is Pallas Projects/Studios' annual programme of funded, artist-initiated exhibitions in Dublin, selected via open call with a focus on early/mid-career and emerging artists and recent graduates. Applicants must live and work in Ireland and must not be enrolled on an undergraduate course; proposed work cannot be shown elsewhere in Dublin during 2027. Up to six four-week exhibitions take place between March and November 2027.
Solo projects receive a €2,000 artist fee plus €600 for materials and installation and €330 for outreach (€2,930 in total); two-person or group projects receive €3,000 plus the same supplements (€3,930). Pallas covers gallery rental, insurance, invigilation, publicity, curatorial support and photographic and video documentation. Applications are made via an online form with a single PDF containing a short proposal, biography, up to 10 (solo) or 15 (group) images and a CV, with a video/audio alternative available. The deadline is 5pm on 13 October 2026.
