About
The Prix Pictet is a global award for photography addressing sustainability, organised by the Pictet Group since 2008. Each cycle is built around a theme; the eleventh cycle, Storm, was won by Alfredo Jaar in 2025 and its exhibition is touring through 2027.
There is no open entry: a worldwide network of nominators each proposes one to five photographers whose work fits the theme, and an independent jury selects a shortlist of twelve.
The winner receives CHF 100,000 and the shortlisted work tours internationally. The next theme is normally revealed at Les Rencontres d'Arles.
