About

The International Photography Exhibition (IPE) has been staged by the Royal Photographic Society since 1854. It is open to photographers and image-makers of all ages and experience worldwide; RPS membership is not required and there is no set theme or genre.

Entrants submit four individual images or a series of up to four images, with multiple paid entries allowed. Selected work forms a touring group show of about 100 photographs; further awards include a two-week solo exhibition at an RPS partner venue and features on RPS channels.

IPE 167 closed on 2 December 2025 and was shown at the Saatchi Gallery, London, from 7 August to 11 September 2026. The IPE 168 call is listed on rps.org/exhibitions/ipe-168; its deadline and fee could not be confirmed at the time of checking.
