About
The University of Applied Arts Vienna is looking for a Senior Artist for the Art x Science School for Transformation, a joint programme with Johannes Kepler University Linz that combines artistic and scientific approaches.
The post-holder teaches up to eight semester hours of transdisciplinary project work, largely co-taught with JKU Linz, supervises bachelor's theses, runs workshops and seminars, works with external partners and helps develop the curriculum. Teaching is in English.
Applicants need a completed art degree, at least three years' teaching experience, internationally visible transdisciplinary artistic work and exhibitions, an interest in digital, social or ecological transformation, excellent English and good German. The contract is 20 hours a week for three years, with a minimum of €1,888.05 gross a month (14 times a year). Apply via the online portal by 6 November 2026.
