About
The Taipei Artist-in-Residence (AIR Taipei) programme is run by the Taipei Culture Foundation under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government. Its Global AIR strand invites international artists to live and work at Treasure Hill Artist Village (and formerly Taipei Artist Village), with free accommodation for a set period, a complete unit as studio, and access to performance or rehearsal space.
Proposals must connect the artist's own practice with Taipei's cultural landscape, ecology, history or social context. The call for applications is held every year from March to June, with selection guidelines published on the AIR Taipei site.
The 2027 open call is closed. The 2028 call is expected to open in spring 2027.
