About
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios in Dublin and Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) exchange artists each year. The 2027 call invites applications from Irish or Ireland-based visual artists for a residency at TOKAS from 1 September to 30 November 2027, while a Japanese artist takes a studio at TBG+S.
The selected artist receives a €8,000 stipend for living and working costs, travel to and from Tokyo, a private room on site and shared studio access. They present a public engagement and a three-day open studio at the end of the residency.
