About
The Ingram Prize, run by The Ingram Collection, supports early-career visual artists who hold a practice-based visual arts qualification from a UK higher or further education institution awarded within the previous five years. Artists aged over 18 may enter up to two works in any medium and any size, free of charge, via the artopps.co.uk portal.
For 2026, entries closed at 5pm on 25 August 2026. Shortlisted artists exhibit together at Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop, London, from 5 to 11 November 2026, with winners announced at the opening on 4 November. The judging panel selects three Ingram Prize winners and founder Chris Ingram selects a Founder's Award; all prizewinning works are acquired for The Ingram Collection, and one prizewinner receives a solo exhibition at The Lightbox, Woking, in 2027. The prize runs annually.
