About
UTS Library in Sydney invites proposals for an ambitious but achievable new work that activates the Library's spaces, culture and community. The residency runs for approximately six months from March to September 2027, and the resident must work in the Library at least once a week for 16 weeks.
The call is open to emerging and established creatives in any medium; no affiliation with UTS is required. The aggregator listing specifies applicants based in Australia.
The resident receives AUD 15,000 covering time, creative work, superannuation, travel and accommodation, plus a AUD 5,000 materials and production budget. Applications are emailed to [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 26 October 2026; the successful applicant is notified by late November 2026.
