Sweden's largest juried open exhibition, held at Liljevalchs in Stockholm since 1921. Open to anyone born 2008 or earlier living in Sweden/Sápmi; up to five works, SEK 400 fee. Applications 1 September to 1 October 2026.

About
Vårsalongen is Liljevalchs konsthall's annual open-submission exhibition, mixing amateurs and professionals. For the 2027 edition anyone born in 2008 or earlier who lives or stays long-term in Sweden or Sápmi (or holds a Swedish personal number) may apply with up to five works, including at most one film/animation. Works must be no more than three years old, for sale (Liljevalchs takes 30% commission) and preferably previously unexhibited.
Applications are digital only via liljevalchs.se, open from Tuesday 1 September 2026 to Thursday 1 October 2026 at 23:59, with a SEK 400 fee paid by card or Swish. Jury results are announced in mid-November 2026; the exhibition opens at Liljevalchs on Djurgården in early 2027 (dates not yet stated).
