About
The Boghossian Foundation hosts artists in residence at Villa Empain in Brussels for two to three months, depending on the project and availability. Residents stay in a dedicated building with individual bedrooms and a shared common area, with 24-hour access to a shared studio; travel expenses are covered for artists coming from abroad. Brussels-based artists may apply for an external residency with studio access during opening hours.
The foundation welcomes artists from all backgrounds. Applications are accepted throughout the year through the online form (project proposal of 400 words, CV, 500-word statement, 10 images or 3 videos and a list of works); the latest call closed on 31 August 2026. Each year the foundation also invites the Lebanese Boghossian Prize winners and three Armenian artists selected with Creative Armenia.
