After School Club Leader (Art and Design and other clubs) at Building Imagination

Building Imagination runs after-school and lunchtime clubs in schools across London and is recruiting club leaders; the company says many of its leaders are artists or designers who fit the work around their own practice. Its Building Blocks club covers art and design projects such as abstract art, bridge building and tree house making, alongside clubs in robotics, virtual reality design and game design.

No teaching qualification or prior experience is needed, as training, materials and lesson plans are provided. Leaders need confidence with children, must commit to at least one weekly session for a whole term, hold or obtain an Enhanced DBS, and attend a two-hour initial training session.

Pay starts at £35 an hour for Building Blocks and £40 an hour for the other clubs, rising by £5 after three terms, with travel expenses covered. Most people start with one or two sessions a week. Apply through the company's online teacher form.
