Art and Design Technician at Wiltshire College & University Centre

Wiltshire College & University Centre wants an Art and Design Technician for its Chippenham campus. The technician prepares materials, tools and equipment for practical art and visual arts lessons, sets up and maintains studios and workshops, helps staff and students with creative projects, supports student exhibitions and events, and manages stock and safe storage of materials.

Applicants need a Level 3 or higher qualification in art, fine art, art and design or a related subject (or equivalent experience), practical studio or workshop experience, good knowledge of art materials and processes, and an understanding of health and safety.

The post is permanent and full time, 37 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, at £25,304 rising to £25,835. Enhanced DBS checks apply and the vacancy may close early.
