Art Teacher at Superior Child International Academy

Superior Child International Academy in Markham wants a part-time art instructor to teach drawing and visual arts to students aged 3 to 16. Lessons cover sketching, shading, perspective, composition, colour theory and mixed media, using pencil, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic and pastel, and may include preparing students for portfolios, competitions and exhibitions.

The instructor also plans and runs themed art projects in the school's summer and seasonal camps and helps with showcases and open days. The school asks for a degree in fine art, visual arts or art education (or equivalent experience) and experience teaching children and teenagers; digital art, illustration or animation teaching is a plus.

Pay is C$18–C$35 an hour, in person, with on-site parking.
