Art Therapist at Māpura Studios

Māpura Studios, a not-for-profit disability arts organisation in Auckland, is looking for an art therapist to join its creative team. The post plans and runs individual and group art therapy sessions that support participants' wellbeing, self-expression and confidence, working with people of all ages with a wide range of physical, intellectual and emotional support needs.

The therapist keeps clinical records, maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality, liaises with families, carers and other professionals, and works alongside Māpura's tutors, staff and volunteers. Applicants need a recognised art therapy qualification, experience supporting disabled people, and confidence facilitating sessions; registration with a professional body is preferred.
