About
The Black and White International Photo Awards is an annual competition in which monochrome is the only criterion for entry. Photographers worldwide may enter previously published work with no restriction on when the photos were taken; series are limited to 7 photos (15 for extended series) and a dedicated Photomanipulation/AI category exists for AI-assisted images.
The 2026 edition's call closed in November 2025 and its exhibition takes place 13–15 November 2026 at Galerie Joseph Minimes, Paris, with the opening on 13 November. A $2,000 cash prize is awarded alongside exhibition of the finalists.
The organiser states that the next call for entries opens in the first week of January 2027. Entry fees are charged in euros via PayPal or card and are published with the call.
