About
The ACT (Arts, Culture, Theatre) Arts Centre in Maple Ridge is looking for a ceramics instructor to teach students of all ages and levels. The instructor plans and delivers classes and workshops in hand building, wheel throwing, glazing and surface decoration, demonstrates safe use of tools and equipment, gives individual feedback, and keeps the studio clean, organised and safe.
The centre asks for a bachelor's degree in ceramics or a related field, at least two years of teaching ceramics, good knowledge of clays and glazes, experience operating and maintaining ceramics equipment, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
